Davos, Switzerland (Cross-country skiing)
December is coming up and this means a lot of snow sports in the Swiss mountains. This month pretty intense for me. But I really enjoy that season. First up there was the Tour the Ski (cross-country skiing) in Davos. There we produced some a live stream. In the evening we got a very nice hotel closeby. I’m used to staying in hotels but this time we had a really nice one. Downstairs we had a wellness area which I really needed to try out and enjoyed. It was pretty empty.

Then at the end of the month, my favourite ice hockey tournament was taking place also in Davos. The same as every year. But I always enjoy it, since the atmosphere is very special and it’s always was a childhood dream of mine to be there. Not to imagine that I would work as a cameraman behind the scenes there and work with all the sportspeople and celebrities who are attending the event.
Lenzerheide, Switzerland (Winter wonderland)
It started to snow and turned the country into a beautiful, white landscape. My Indonesian friend came from Munich to enjoy that scenery. We booked a hotel at Lenzerheide, a winter sports area not too far from my homeplace. There we enjoyed the wellness area. The hotel was not very crowded and we had a lot of space.
Closeby our accommodation there an outdoor art installation called “Zauberwald”. It’s really nice to go there in the evening. The installations include light, music and sometimes also add interactions (camera and sensors). It’s a really special experience combined with the snow in the forest.
