Athens, Greece
Next up was another capital. This time Greece. For another 2 weeks, I headed with a former co-worker (Carl) to Athens for work. Carl was just able to attend for 1 week since the policy of his company just allowed 1 week per month of remote work. So in the second week, I stayed by myself for work.

Same as in Lissabon I booked a spacious Airbnb closeby the city centre. I was lucky again. We got an amazing place with a decent view of the Acropolis with a huge terrace. Closeby our place we had different options for food and enjoyed that pretty much. I personally love Greece food. Our schedule looked like that this time: work, a walk during lunch, work, explore and eat.
In the late afternoon, we always went out to explore certain parts of the city. Once we went south to the port, then we did a walking tour, went on top of the Acropolis or into a museum. Athens has a lot to offer.
